Black Tea Classic Favourite. Smooth and Full Bodied with a Rich Colour. Celebrated for centuries in the Orient, tea has shaped our world from the times of Chinese emperors and European explorers. Black Tea comes from the same source as White, Green and Oolong tea: the tea bush known to botanists as Camellia sinensis. Normally Green, Oolong, and Black teas are rolled or broken prior to or during the drying process and then left exposed so that the essential oils can oxidize; this is a process known as fermenting. This Black tea is fully fermented, then roasted to seal in all the flavours, resulting in its full- characteristic mellow flavour and full body.
