Auroshikha Myrrh is based upon the essential oil of elemi, and resinoid benzoin. As one of the gifts brought to Bethlehem by the Magi, this resin has remained as holy scent in western traditions. This incense is good to light at the beginning of a new day. It fills a room with freshness containing a blend of sweetness and spice. Sandal, Frankincense and Myrrh together create an aroma used in ancient purification.

Auroshikha Agarbathies is an integral part of Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry. It was started in 1973 mainly with a view to providing employment opportunities to villagers around Auroville. In fact Auroshikha has been one of the pioneers in this field in South India.

Imported ingredients are used in the making of the exclusive fragrances of Auroshikha by its Director, a french man with over 30 years of experience in the field. All the fragrances used are in conformity with IFRA ( International Fragrance Association, Geneva, Switzerland). Strict quality control is exercised in the selection of raw materials purchased at source and at various stages of production. Final packing is carefully done to ensure that the products reach the market in an impeccable condition.

Auroshikha is recognised in India and abroad for the quality of its products and services. In India its products are sold in prestigious boutiques and stores as well as in the general market. Auroshikha is exported to more than 26 countries mainly in Europe, Australia, North and South America, Japan and Canada. Auroshikha also provides personalised packaging in many different languages on request.

Our workers welfare is given a priority. They are affiliated to welfare schemes such as Pension Fund and Employees Medical Insurance.
