Oval ECO Lunchbox + Stainless Steel Cup

Size:2 piece

Tired of using Tupperware and other plastics? But you don't have other options for packing food for lunch? Try our BPA-free eco lunchbox made out of high-quality, food-grade stainless steel. Large oval lunchbox measures 6 1/2 inches long by 5 inches wide and 2 inches tall. Stainless steel food container fits two halves of a sandwich stacked with room for sides. Also great for pastas, salads and other leftovers.

Lunchbox set includes a small stainless steel cup (3 1/2" diameter) with a no-leak, BPA-free #4 LDPE plastic lid for sauces, dressings, yogurt, applesauce or other wet items. The cup fits inside the larger oval box or can be used separately.

We have chosen not to use any plastic or other gaskets in the pressure-fitting lid of the oval box, so it's not 100% leak proof. Soups and other very wet items should be put in the small sauce cup with the plastic lid.

Independently lab tested as lead free, food-safe grade 304 stainless steel. Dishwasher safe. Not for use in the microwave.

What's for lunch? You hope it's not toxic lead, plastic and vinyl. And whatever delicious, nutritious food you've packed should fill up your tummy - not the garbage can, too. Yet so often these days we can't be sure our lunchboxes are non-toxic and waste-free. There are surprisingly few options to the standard vinyl, insulated lunchboxes that are so widely and cheaply available through big-box retailers.

And when it comes to filling our lunchboxes with food for school or the office, we reflexively turn to the usual plastic containers and throw-aways, such as plastic baggies, plastic tub containers, juice boxes, questionably safe plastic drinking bottles and pre-packaged supermarket snacks, like yogurts, chips and crackers.

Some reusable lunchbox options, such as stainless steel food containers and coated aluminum water bottles and plastic bento-box-style lunchboxes, have entered the market in recent years. But cobbling together a no-garbage lunchbox solution that avoids the health risks of vinyl, plastic, lead and aluminum is a daunting challenge in today's marketplace.
