An infamous French herb, Parsley's gentle flavour and ability to blend with the flavours around it make it a versatile herb. Use to season dips, salad dressings, stuffings, sauces, gravies, and potatoes. Parsley was cultivated as early as the third century BC. The Romans used Parsley as a garnish and flavouring. They put it on their tables and around their necks in the belief the leaves would absorb fumes.
