Poppy Seeds

Grown in most temperate regions of the world, Poppy seeds are the fruit of the familiar flower. The Dutch blue Poppy is said to produce the finest seeds. Use Poppy seeds on breads, pastries and rolls, crushed in fillings, or add to salad dressings and stuffings. The full nutty, sweet flavour of the seeds is released when they are warmed.
