Ground Cumin Seed

Considered essential in chili powder and curry pastes, Cumin is used extensively in Oriental, Indian, Mexican, and American dishes. An excellent seasoning for beans, beets, pickles, potatoes, curries, and soup. Superstition during the Middle Ages cited that Cumin kept chickens and lovers from wandering.
