We prepare our Dong Quai extract from Angelica sinensis roots which have been grown, harvested & processed according to traditional Chinese methods. To assure optimal quality Dong Quai roots, we directly purchase from China only roots that are harvested in late autumn, removed from their superfluous rootlets, and then traditionally smoke-dried.
