EDTA (Calcium Disodium EDTA), is a pharmaceutical grade chelating agent designed to bind and render inactive certain trace metals. EDTA is so effective at removing unwanted metals and other minerals from the blood.
For decades now, EDTA has been used in a process called "chelation therapy" to remove unwanted metals and trace minerals from the circulatory system. Intravenous chelation therapy introduces the EDTA directly into the blood stream to gradually reduce atherosclerotic plaque throughout the cardiovascular system by dissolving it and eliminating it through the urinary tract.
Specifically, it removes the calcium and other minerals that promote plaque formation. When plaque builds up in blood vessels, blood flow is restricted to all the body's organs, including the heart.
