Glucosamine provides the building blocks necessary for the maintenance and repair of cartilage, connective tissues and ligaments. It stimulates production of synovial fluid to lubricate joints. It inhibits the destructive cells that cause inflammation and may help to rebuild damaged cartilage and deteriorating joints, and to improve joint lubrication.
