Flexation contains Cartilage Matrix Glycoprotein (CMGP), a newly-found nutrient in Type II collagen that works as an antioxidant in the joint, keeping it clear of free-radical damage. CMGP also delivers copper to the joints, which is needed for superoxide dismutase (SOD) function, the most powerful antioxidant found in the body. Also found in Type II collagen is Hyaluronic acid, a substance present in the connective tissues of the body and believed to provide lubrication to the joints. In addition, Flexation also contains other joint proteins to bring an enormous amount of joint support, far greater than individual chondroitin and glucosamine supplements alone. Some of these are fibromodulin (FM), fibronectin (Fn) and decorin. These substances work together to support cartilage and joint function by helping to promote blood-vessel free cartilage.
