Pycnogenol

Pycnogenol is a natural plant product made from the bark of the European coastal pine, Pinus martima. Pycnogenol is rich in proanthocyanidins, a special class of water-soluble antioxidant flavonoids, which are excellent free radical scavengers. French maritime pine bark extract is extracted from the bark of mono-species pine trees grown exclusively in Les Landes de Gascogne forest in southwest France.
