K-2, (MK-7)

K-2, (MK-7) is intended to provide nutritive support for healthy bones and a healthy cardiovascular system. The MK-7 form of vitamin K2 is thought to be more completely absorbed and remain in the body longer than other forms of vitamin K. Studies suggest that menaquinones are more effective in supporting arterial health than vitamin K1 phylloquinone. Bacteria in the intestine synthesize a wide spectrum of vitamin Ks that include very long-chain menaquinones not commonly found in food.
