Who needs Clif Shot Turbo Energy Gel?
Clif Shot Turbo Energy Gel is primarily used by performance athletes – cyclists, runners, mountain bikers, triathletes, adventure racers, etc. However, any performance-oriented athlete needing a quick burst of energy can benefit from Clif Shot Energy Gel. Not recommended for pregnant women, children, or people sensitive to caffeine.
Generally, performance athletes need to consume 200-400 calories per hour from all sources, such as gels, chewables, bars and drinks. We recommend consuming one packet 15 minutes before activity, followed by 2-3 packets per hour during activity to help support your needs.

Clif Bar is named after Gary's father, Clifford, his childhood hero and companion throughout the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
The inspiration to create an energy bar occurred during a day-long, 175-mile bike ride with his boddy Jay. They had been gnawing on some "other" energy bars all day.
Two year later, after countless hours in Mom's kitchen, the CLIF BAR became a reality. And the mission to create a better-tasting energy bar was accomplished. Thanks, Mom!
