NOW Buttermilk powder was once a basic by-product of butter making. Buttermilk Powder is dried without lactic acid or cultures added as in commercial buttermilk. For buttermilk pancakes, follow directions on any pancake mix and substitute reconstituted buttermilk liquid for milk in the recipe.
